Global Presence & Strategic Engagements

Building global connections, identifying market opportunities, and structuring cross-border commodity deals.

Italian Export in 2026: between instability and opportunity

I recently attended Obiettivo Export 2026 in Turin, where one message was clear: global trade is becoming more complex, but also full of new opportunities. Companies are facing unstable supply chains, shifting markets, and increasing pressure to diversify. At the same time, institutional support from ICE Agenzia, SACE, and SIMEST is playing a more strategic role. In sectors like energy and metals, supply reliability is now a key competitive factor. From my perspective in international trading, the demand for structured, cross-market operations is clearly growing. The real value comes from connecting the right partners in the right markets. This is where the next opportunities will be built.

JCC Annual Flagship Conference – Central Asia & South Caucasus

September 2024 – Geneva, Switzerland Idrak Trading participated in the JCC Annual Flagship Conference in Geneva, focused on trade and investment opportunities in Central Asia and the South Caucasus—two regions increasingly strategic for global supply chains and energy corridors. The event, organized by the Joint Chamber of Commerce in partnership with major international stakeholders, brought together diplomats, industry leaders, and multinational companies to discuss the evolving role of these regions as emerging transit hubs connecting Europe and Asia. Key discussions highlighted the importance of logistics infrastructure, alternative transport routes across the Caspian region, and the need for stronger regional coordination to unlock trade potential. For Idrak, the conference represented a strategic opportunity to deepen its understanding of new trade corridors and geopolitical shifts impacting commodity flows, particularly in energy and industrial materials. Engaging directly with ambassadors, corporate executives, and logistics operators allowed us to identify concrete opportunities in cross-border trade, especially in regions where connectivity, infrastructure, and resource availability are rapidly evolving.
